![]() ![]() In the advanced course, difficult combination moves will be introduced as well as Taeguek poomsae numbers 4, 5 and 6. ![]() ![]() This class will be a continuation of the basic techniques requiring more advanced skill and concentration including movement of body weight in action, combination and counter techniques Taeguek poomsae numbers 2 and 3, joint-lock techniques (numbers 6-10), one-step sparring drills (number 6-10), and Taekwondo competition rules and regulations. This class includes martial arts warm-up and warm-down exercises, safety instruction, basic stance, punching, blocking and kicking techniques, Taeguek Poomse (forms) number 1, joint-lock techniques (numbers 1-5), one-step sparring drills (numbers 1-5), Taekwondo history and the socio-cultural background of Taekwondo. Additionally, the class will help you build self-confidence, self-discipline, concentration, focus, and reduce stress. You will improve your agility, balance, flexibility, endurance and overall fitness. The Self-Defense Taekwondo course is designed for students who wish to learn various self-defense techniques based on Taekwondo such as blocking, kicking, punching, basic falling and rolling techniques.
